Legal
Privacy
This policy describes how Shift Ledger (shiftledger.online) processes personal data. The site operates under the jurisdiction of Brazil. The Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD, Law No. 13.709/2018) applies, and, where relevant for data subjects in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, principles aligned with the GDPR are observed.
Controller and contact
Controller: Shift Ledger. Sole contact: [email protected]. No physical address is published. For privacy matters, the email subject may indicate “Privacy”.
Data that may be processed
- Email content and metadata when a person writes to the support address (name if provided, address, message body).
- Technical logs that hosting or edge providers may generate (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and delivery.
- Payment and billing data only if a paid product is offered through a third-party processor; that processor’s terms then also apply.
Shift Ledger does not operate account registration on this static site and does not solicit testimonials or reviews.
Purposes and legal bases (LGPD)
- Correspondence and support — performance of pre-contractual or contractual steps and legitimate interest in answering requests (Arts. 7, I, II and IX LGPD, as applicable).
- Security and abuse prevention — legitimate interest in protecting the service (Art. 7, IX LGPD).
- Legal obligations — compliance with applicable law when a request or authority requires retention or disclosure (Art. 7, II LGPD).
- Consent — when a specific processing requires consent, it will be requested in clear terms (Art. 7, I LGPD).
Retention
Support email is retained as long as needed to complete the request and for a limited archive period for continuity and dispute handling, then deleted or anonymized when no longer necessary. Technical logs follow provider defaults unless a longer period is required for security investigation.
Rights
Under the LGPD, data subjects may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data, portability when applicable, information about sharing, and revocation of consent. Requests go to the support email. ANPD channels remain available for complaints in Brazil. EEA/UK residents may also contact a local supervisory authority where GDPR-aligned rights apply.
Cookies and similar technologies
The static editorial pages do not set first-party analytics cookies. Edge or hosting providers may use strictly necessary technical cookies. If tracking tools are added later, this policy will be updated before activation.
International transfers
Infrastructure providers may process data outside Brazil. Where transfers occur, Shift Ledger relies on contractual clauses and provider safeguards consistent with LGPD requirements for international transfers.
Children
The site is not directed to persons under 18. Shift Ledger does not knowingly solicit data from minors.
